Welcome to the GBLT page of Reverend Kenneth Price’s ministry.
As a minister and a gay man who came out in the 1980s, I understand the unique challenges and triumphs of our community.
While pride can be seen as an egoic concept in metaphysical terms, it is also a powerful tool for uplifting those who have felt shame due to traditional religious interpretations that have often been misunderstood and disempowering.
One of the significant aspects of my journey has been returning to a sense of spiritual connection. I recognize that for many in our community, the word “faith” can trigger painful memories due to past experiences with religious condemnation. Many of us have felt compelled to reject spirituality entirely, sometimes even embracing skepticism as a response. However, I believe that both extremes—religious zealotry and complete disbelief—can be limiting.
My ministry seeks to capture the middle ground, offering a path that transcends these polarities. This space is dedicated to embracing and celebrating our true selves, fostering a sense of belonging and support within the GBLT community.
Together, we can rise above the battleground of old paradigms and find a more empowering and inclusive understanding of spiritual connection.
Stay tuned for more updates as this part of the ministry evolves, offering deeper connections and insights into our shared journey.
