Welcome to the LGBTQ+ page of Reverend Kenneth Price’s ministry. As a minister and a gay man who came out in the 1980s, I understand the challenges and triumphs that live within our community. Many of us carry deep wounds from religious systems that misinterpreted Jesus’ message and left us feeling judged, excluded, or fundamentally wrong. For some, even the word faith can trigger difficult memories.
That’s why A Course in Miracles became such an important turning point for me. It allowed me to start fresh—without the historical baggage, fear-based teachings, or exclusionary culture of traditional religion. ACIM brings us back to the original essence of Jesus’ message: love without exception and acceptance without condition. Pride may be viewed metaphysically as an ego concept, yet for those of us who endured decades of shame or erasure, pride can also be a healing bridge back to our true worth.
Many LGBTQ+ people have felt forced into extremes—either rejecting spirituality entirely or remaining in religious systems that never fully embraced them. My ministry seeks the middle ground: a spiritual home where no one has to apologize for who they are. A place where connection, healing, and awakening can unfold without judgment. A place where being gay is not something to overcome spiritually, but something to honor as part of your path, wisdom, and resilience.
ACIM does not correct us. It corrects the misunderstandings that were placed on top of love. It invites us to remember who we really are: whole, innocent, worthy, and loved. This page is dedicated to that remembering—celebrating authenticity, supporting one another, and rising above outdated paradigms into a more inclusive and empowered spiritual understanding.
Stay tuned as this section continues to evolve, offering deeper insights, connection, and a shared space for awakening.
